We arrived at the Cache Creek Lodge last night (May 15) around 11:30pm! We left Thursday morning at 6:15am from Mobile heading to Kansas City, Missouri. It took us 14 hours to get there, luckily we had Abby's monster cookies to keep us energized. We left on Friday morning from Kansas City heading towards Rawlins, Wymoing to spend the night. We drove through the state of Nebraska which is probably the most miserably state in the country. It is flat, empty, full of cows, and windy. We reached Rawlins really early so we continued driving and were planning on spending the night in Lander, Wyoming. Lander backfired though once we found out that every hotel in the teeny town was booked because of a track meet so we decided to drive all the way to Jackson. Today, we unpacked into our cute little Cache Creek Motel/Suite. Its a room with 2 queen beds, a good size bathroom, and a living/kitchenette room which is perfect for us.
We continued our day by walking around down town on the job search. We applied at a whole bunch of restaurants so hopefully we will get a call soon because we sure need the moo-lah! Were going to dinner tonight and then going to see what its like around JH at night. Im trying to figure this whole blog thing out. Hopefully i can figure out how to add some pictures!
